Regulatory Framework Development

The process encompasses the identification of regulatory gaps, in-depth research on emerging challenges within the financial sector, and the formulation of legal instruments, including statutes, directives, regulations, and guidelines. Prior to publication, these draft legal instruments undergo extensive stakeholder consultations. Presently, the Registrar has promulgated directives and guidelines applicable to several sectors, including Banking, Insurance, Pension, Capital Markets, Microfinance, and Financial Cooperatives.
